wintermute_oregon,

I don’t get the irrational fear of Islam. To me this is graffiti and should be treated as such. Back when I worked in law enforcement, the Muslims were some of the most generous and kind people I had ever met. They fed the poor and tried to help them. It’s a pillar of Islam to help the poor.

Blamemeta,

All the terrorist attacks is probably the big one. 9/11 being most notable attack in modern times, also the Paris attacks on Nov 13, 2015. Also San Berendino, Nice, Pulse Night Club, Charlie Hebedo, Brussels, Berlin Christmas Truck attack, Manchester Arena Bombing, etc. …wikipedia.org/…/List_of_Islamist_terrorist_attac…

Muslims have made it very clear that they want to kill people.

wintermute_oregon,

Notice most of those attacks in Europe. I think Europe either draws in the radicals or does something to make them radical. Radical Islam is dangerous but that’s a small majority of Muslims. When Isis formed, the Muslims fought isis.

Isis was so extreme Al quida fought them for being extreme.

Blamemeta,

Its because geography. Easier for radical muslims to get to Europe than America.

quindraco,

Just earlier today I was arguing with a Lemming who strongly opposed freedom of religion. There are always folks like that, everywhere.

wintermute_oregon,

I’m not religious. Yet I strongly support freedom of religion. I go to mass because it’s tradition.

Yet Islam seems to freak people out. I don’t get it.

Religion isn’t bad by default. People freak out because they have no exposure to Islam. Some are good. Some are bad but people often miss the context like the Bible.
