Happy !

Here we are with another edition of Adam Around - and, like last time, with 3 currently unoccupied buildings.

But as opposed to last time, these buildings likely have a soon-to-be bright future.

First up, is the Detroit Life Building on Park Avenue: https://historicdetroit.org/buildings/detroit-life-building

This building is planned to be renovated into residential units under the so-called "District Detroit" project which has received significant city and state financial backing.

The next building, directly next to the Life Building, is the Blenheim Apartments Building.

I could not find much history on this building, but the current District Detroit plan is apparently to return it to what it was - residential apartments.

Beautiful red-stone building.

Both this building and the Detroit Life Building above straddle "Columbia Street" which is really a freshly-renovated, pedestrian-only walkway featuring shops and restaurants.

The last building on Adam's Park Avenue Tour (which can be seen in the above photograph to the right of this one) is the Women's City Club Building.

The current District plan is that this building will become commercial space and I believe that it may be already partially renovated inside.

The white-stoned Kales Building can be seen on the right. The Kales Building is an apartment building.
