Disney alien finally safely contained

This is Skippy. For those who never experienced it, he was part of the pre-show for The ExtraTERRORestrial Alien Encounter at Disney World, an attraction which was responsible for many therapy and dry-cleaning bills.

This particular Skippy was given to me by a dear friend who’s sadly no longer with us and bought him at Disney World as a kid. One of the many shared experiences we bonded over was the trouser-filling fear we both went through on that ride.

I kept him in a cupboard for a long time for fear of him being damaged but from now on he’ll take pride of place in my living room.
