The wheels being pretty low down to the ground could be a problem I think.
However since the Wolf Warrior scooter has a tiny metal-looking tongue thing at the back, there are some non-permanent DIY possibilities š they are pretty jank though, and if you (hopefully donāt) get into an accident, the metal could end up causing additional injury, so just be careful.
You could attach a bicycle pannier hand cart adapter to it, like one of these things that I have:
Thereās another quick release piece that locks between the holes, but I canāt find it at the moment!
Assuming youāre in the US, I tried to find one on ebay for you but couldnāt get any results, so you may have to look around.
Another option would be to get a wall shelf angle bracket, bolt the bottom to the rack at the back of the Wolf (using some large washers or maybe a metal bicycle handlebar accessory mount), and drill out the other hole on the angle bracket so it can fit the pet trailerās bike wheel attachment.
Worth grabbing a trailer first (second hand ones are pretty cheap) and have a mess around. If you go for secondhand, you could consider a baby trailer instead - they may be able to attach directly to the scooter wheels, depending on whether the rod that connects to the wheels is fixed at the baby trailerās lowest point (instead of other trailers that sometimes have the connecting rod extending from the middle of the trailer)
Good point about the wheel height, and thanks for looking in advance for one of these adapters. Is this what theyāre calledābicycle pannier hand cart adapter? Iām getting mixed results online.
Iād be okay with a DIY solution that doesnāt involve messing with the scooter, just the trailer. Iāll see if I can find a secondhand trailer first.
I donāt own an escooter so my only point of reference is an ebike.
Could be either the weather is too cold for the batteries to provide full power, or possibly too hot for the motor control electronics to keep coolā¦ looking at the battery cycles being so low (just 81) and how popular Xiaomi scooters are, I think chances are low that the battery is severely degraded
Does the app auto-refresh those stats in real time when youāre riding the scooter? Might be worth screen-recording that page while you ride up the hill and then looking at the recording afterwards to see if the battery is being strained, or if the limit is being imposed elsewhere (internal controller etc)
Could also be that maybe youāre carrying more on the scooter (shopping/additional person/wearing heavier clothing)? An additional person on the scooter could strain the battery if done frequently, especially if the BMS canāt keep up with balancing the cells after the fact during charging
You see this everywhere in all of the pevs. For some reason is speed = better. I donāt think you should ride anything above 30 km/h (~19 mph) that has smaller wheels than a motorcycle, plus scooter joints can be very weak. I always try to drive where the speel limit is bellow 50 (~31 mph) if possible. Smaller roads are a lot more fun too. But I understand why ppl want to go full speed if the road is just a long straight line but the laws will be against us if we ride reckless (as in new laws against scooters).
And if you want to see the scooter in action, just check out this video. Heaven knows they could use it; the view count is in the single digits at the time of publishing.
You would definitely need to wear motorcycle gear for that, but Iām not sure if itās inherently more dangerous than one.
The most dangerous aspects of it are probably the small tires, and oddly enough, itās low speed. On higher speed zone highways, being limited to ~70 can be a real liability.
