The chair’s cover has a zipper underneath, and it just occurred to me I could stick magnets in the arms, under the fabric, so my keyboard can attach to the chair. 🎉
And with the AR glasses I can just recline and putter away on the three virtual monitors on my ceiling. 😎
@ergomechkeyboards MX Ergo 3D scan
Hey everyone, I'm working on making my own trackball, and the shell design is kicking my ass because I'm also learning cad on the way.
Does anyone have a 3d scanner they can use to create an approximate model of the MX Ergo mouse so I can study it? Going off photos, I just don't see the shape.
Heck yeah! A small ball would be awesome! They have the two buttons by the trackball on the og, but i use those as a volume switch. Where are you thinking for the small ball placement?
Pteron36 with Custom TRRS Cable https://imgur.com/a/VenyvFC
Hi guys,
This weekend I build a customized Pteron36 and a custom TRRS cable to go with. Can you guess which anime mc is on the right side :D?
How easy is it to go back to using staggered keyboards?
I've been tempted to switch to ergo, but I'm worried about being able to still use laptops effectively.
At first it was pretty hard, but I found that it became easier once I built up muscle memory for my Colemak-DH column stagger split keyboard. Suddenly switching between the split and my MacBook keyboard started working again.
As someone who only types a few words on staggered now and then, I have no problem as long as I look at the keyboard. I would probably need some learning period to write blind again.
