So like guys. This most recent hack of all my stuff broke me, like mentally and financially. Like literally, I'm gonna have to sell my house and move into a van down by the river, but I am still committed to Caches. I don't have any money right now, because they won't take anymore plasma from me this week, but I would love to have anyone and everyone come over there and talk about Ethereum, science, technology, crypto's, mental disorders, your favorite molecules, whatever... Like I got all the features of Lenster, GM, and all those wanna-be's going on. Stop paying for follower NFTs and waiting lists just to make a blog post. You can do that for free, with no lines at Caches.

Look, I have like negative several hundred thousand dollars to offer you, but what I can promise is that if you help me build this thing, I won't forget you. I have some good ideas to make some money but I need a small, rag-tag crew that will also send me canned foods every once in a while to make it fly. 696, bro, you're an excellent writer. I need you and your canned corn homie. KBrot, you're super smart ... like way smarter than I'll ever be. I need that, and any cans of tuna fish you can spare. I'll eat the dolphin kind at this point, I'm too hungry for ethics rn. Btoast, MrVodnik, I'm ok with spinach or lima beans, but more importantly I could also use your help at Caches.

Hey y'all, I even totally released the source code so you can laugh at me behind my back. Or you can laugh at my front and use the Forums. I removed the link previews and video/twitter embeds so it's a mostly text based affair in there now. A few bubble heads and badges, but 95% text. Groups still have animated GIFs, embeds and everything you expect from modern resource heavy social media, but if you're a homotextual like me, you don't gotta venture over there if you don't want.

Stuff I'm working on right now:

1. Making connections for monetization WITHOUT the need for ads all over the place.
2. Outreach to some bloggers I'm a big fan of to see if I can kiss their ass wet enough to write and give me cans of sardines.
3. Finding a buyer for my organs to keep the hosting bills paid
4. Working on a Feature Guide for all the things you can do at Caches.
5. Better moderation tools/controls

What I have to offer:

1. 1 x EIPanda NFT
2. Unlimited Hugs (10 seconds maximum per hug, 4 hugs maximum per day)
3. One free nights stay with me in my two-man tent (AirBNB coupon only)

Tuna might be prohibitively expensive to send over to you, but let's put our heads together. What are the expenditures and costs for running Caches? Can you set up a https://ko-fi.com/ and maintain it? Have you presented to a DAO or github raise? Could it be put into hibernation while you regain your financial footing?

Understandable. I was just shooting for the moon with the tuna if you know what I'm sayin. The ongoing costs aren't too bad. $33/mo. for hosting/backup/DDoS protection and about $1000/yr in software licenses. I'll check out KoFi. Thanks!

I haven't presented it to anyone except everyone in the old sub and discord. At this point the costs to run it aren't large enough to make a difference in my bottom line. I also think it's more valuable to me than the money rn, because it can be used to make more money.

I really hope that the first paragraph is just a PR stunt... if not, we're here for you, and sure can send some 'canned food' via ERC20 DAI contract. Also, a web3 dev can definitely bounce back high from the bottom.

What your need from us specifically? Technical involvement or just more content?

Man I wish I was joking. Not really their fault. I was on the edge anyway. This just tipped me over the edge. If you wanna help, I have some ideas but I don't wanna post them publicly. @kbrot i took a dive into liquity... And I must say it is pleasantly good! I'm a bit cautious though due to it being new for me. Do you know if there are good write ups regarding the platform for more DYOR?

I’ve been out of the loop. I was impatient during the bear and blew a bunch of what I would have now in NFTs and then sold off a lot to stay solvent during a career change.

What are we excited about in Ethereum now? I have interacted with ZkEra and have some very small weekly collections on velodrome. I got a decent amount from the Arbitrum drop. Beyond that I don’t know much.

What are things to currently play with or upcoming things that I should keep an eye on?
