I also picked up the green version not too long ago and I love it. The beam is great. I prefer running the two AA batteries over the Li-ion for the sub lumen low mode.

Not that I'm itching to get back on Reddit, but instead curious on your thoughts given the bits of information that have trickled out about CEO's position in this "negotiation".
What, specifically, escalated the situation and prompted the strike? It was my understanding that the sub would be going dark, and possibly staying dark past the 14th.
It's intended to be temporary, but I think recent events mean that Reddit is on a decline from which it will never recover its former glory. I'd like to see things move on to decentralized options precisely because it's difficult or impossible to rebuild a community like /r/flashlight.
I honestly feel that now is a good time to shift to decentralized services. It's definitely not an easy task to transfer a whole community, but I guess we should try.
