When the Hogwarts Legacy video game was announced, there was a lot of controversy about whether the goblins in the Harry Potter franchise were an antisemitic stereotype.

This prompted me to dive into how antisemitism plays a role in German folk tales, and what lessons we can draw from this for fighting antisemitism in the modern day.
