ampersandrew, Man, this site on mobile is like psychological warfare. You read a paragraph, and it's interesting, and you scroll down a bit to read more, and they spawn another ad that takes up ever so slightly more of the screen until the article is a postage stamp in the middle like I'm playing Quake on an old machine in 1997.
khab, Set up a PiHole if you can, I see no ads whatsoever.
xhieron, I can’t wait until the everything-is-a-soulslike era has ended. I know some people like it, but it absolutely does not inspire any excitement for me.
RightHandOfIkaros, I love Souls likes but flooding the market with one specific genre is never a good thing.
The number of survival games or indie roguelite games is at the point where I actively avoid them now. Ive played so many I dont want another one for a while.
Dindonmasker, The trick with roguelikes is to get addicted to 1 and not play another game for 10+ years. So you don’t get sick of roguelikes in general.
RightHandOfIkaros, Every game these days wants to monopolize my time, which I do not like either. I just play what I want, and I find myself more and more playing old classics because of the better variety they offer than newer titles.
GlitterInfection, Similarly, I can’t wait until the everything-is-a-survival-game era ends.
ampersandrew, Well, they finally started appealing to me, because the new crop cares less about trying to survive and more about building stuff.
Dindonmasker, I’m not sure if i’ve ever played a souls like apart from the couple of VR ones. When i feel like playing a souls game i play a souls game.
optissima, I love Souls games, but souls-like as a genre usually doesn’t even feel like souls games. It means you have a health and stamina bar, everything else is ignored…
