New garden boxes are almost complete
I didn’t realize how many challenges and on the fly design changes I would have building on a slope, but I think they are still coming out really nice.

LallyLuckFarm, Slopes are definitely tricky but you did a fantastic job. Those look great!
What are your plans for filling them? Whatcha gonna grow?
runner_g, Oh thank you! We have a bunch of seeds started on the kitchen counter, haha, I thing we have brussel sprouts, chives, basil, thyme and maybe something else started already. We will also buy some starters for peppers and zucchini. There’s a 3rd box hidden by the deck, and another 12ft x 4ft box on the other side of the yard from the previous owners that has some strawberries still growing that survived the winter.
LallyLuckFarm, Awesome stuff, and that’s a ton of growing space! I hope you’ll share your progress, I’ve got two more months before transplants would be safe so I’m living vicariously through folks til then
runner_g, I totally will!
lemmyreader, Cool.
admin, They look amazing.
runner_g, Thanks!
unexposedhazard, (edited ) Are those for plants or for compost? Either way looks pretty clean and nicely adapted to your situation.
runner_g, Planting! We are planning on growing a ton of veggies this summer.
unexposedhazard, Good stuff! Homegrown vegetables and fruit are just the best :)
