Ouch… After all these years this still hurts. Remember my mom asking the neighbors for a bit of money for my class trip.
Nintendo, bruh they made us sit in the library and do homework for the whole day if we couldn’t afford the trips bc our school would lose some funding for lower headcounts per day. they essentially threw kids in jail for a day for being poor. I remember there was a weeklong science camp our whole grade went on… except the kids who sat in the library for a whole WEEK for being too poor.
