@brokenix "lenses" or more generally (swap out some of the -> for another profunctor) "optics".

I still like the "functional references" name, those that doesn't generalize well, and I feel like a lot I'm trying to teach lenses wouldn't have much insight sparked by the name "(imperative) references".
