@Vivaldi I’d like an option on iOS to have private-only mode like Brave has. Or at least a setting to select a default mode. Currently Vivaldi always opens in non-private mode.
In the meantime, you can long press on the Vivaldi icon on the home screen or in the App Library and select Private Search to quickly open Vivaldi with a new private tab.

Do you have battery saver mode enabled? Another user noticed that disabling battery saver mode improved the scrolling experience on websites significantly. Perhaps it helps with the browser's built-in features as well.
@JaySan25 I'm sorry I didn't get back to you about the issue sooner.
I don't really have any good news yet, but I do have a question. Is there difference in scrolling when the Address Bar is at the top vs at the bottom?
@Vivaldi yes. When I’m scrolling through the bookmarks it’s smooth when the address bar is on the tab. It doesn’t make a difference on websites. Sometimes laggy sometimes smooth. But slower than with Safari.
Thanks for the info. I spoke to a dev and he said that when the Tracker and Ad Blocker is enabled, it can have an affect on loading and scrolling. Since Safari doesn't block ads, you won't see it there.
But regarding the Tab Bar position issue, can you tell me which device and iOS version you have?
@JaySan25
Discussed with a dev and they're fairly confident that the scrolling issues on web pages are caused by the Tracker and Ad Blocker and they hope to work on improvements to it soon.
