Thanks to a comment by @LargeHardonCollider , I checked and saw that 'Federation debugging' mode was enabled. I had enabled that when the server just started (less than 3 weeks ago) and I had an issue with federation....

I wish there was an alternative to leaving Reddit

There is a huge emphasis I see on just growing community size and creating an alternative to reddit....

Everything on here is awesome right now, it feels like an online forum from the 2000s, everyone is friendly, optimistic, it feels like the start to something big....

So after we've extended the virtual cloud server twice, we're at the max for the current configuration. And with this crazy growth (almost 12k users!!) even now the server is more and more reaching capacity....

We will upgrade lemmy.world to 0.18.3 today at 20:00 UTC+2 (Check what this isn in your timezone). Expect the site to be down for a few minutes. ““Edit”” I was warned it could be more than a few minutes. The database update might even take 30 minutes or longer....
