siderealyear, Distributions may support specific kernels longer than their ‘official’ end-of-life. For example, Ubuntu 22.04 will use the 5.15 kernel until April of 2027 even though it’s technically end-of-life in October 2026.
rollingflower, I am confused that this Kernel is EOL when a nonstable Distro like Fedora still uses it.
fossphi, Distro kernel versions don’t have to strictly correspond with upstream. They be patching their shit
