Final Fantasy VI “The Impresario” OC ReMix

While looking up metadata URLs for this piece by Jake Kaufman, which I consider one of the greatest FFVI remixes in existence, I discovered that Square-Enixʼs Pixel Remaster of FFVI included a 2.5D/3D rendition of the opera sequence, including three-quarter view versions of at least one sprite not present in the original SNES game when theyʼre present in a 3D environment. Additionally, they have not only voice actors, but what seem to be trained opera singers performing the opera! I can see the original Japanese lyrics have a metre that fits the Japanese version. An interesting touch is the fact that people singing Celesʼs part sing in a distinctly non-operatic style which Nobuo Uematsu said was intentional (in-game, Celes is roped into performing at the last minute as part of a counter-heist to nab a kidnapper).
