Is one NewPipe view counted in Peertube, YouTube ?

If an API for recording views was developed, it could be exploited to spam a video’s views en masse.

YouTube views are not counted in NewPipe and neither are Peertube views, but there is an open feature request for it here: github.com/TeamNewPipe/NewPipe/issues/3092

Thanks, good thing that it bas been noticed. It should be implemented, I watch some Peertubers that way and it would increase their views
