MVP of the @milliways coin stand! Needs a few modifications, but as of now, I'm happy it can stand on its own. Construction is solid this time around: last printing attempt caused the upper part to crumble mid-print.
@jwildeboer@EU_Commission@EDPS there was talk of this at the #37c3 in December. It seems the problem then was: there is nobody in the EU agencies willing take over running the instances & the EDPS can't run these servers perpetually as that'd require them to regulate themselves.
Juhu. Heute haben wir unsere access points für die #Eink Displays fertig gebastelt und in Betrieb genommen. Die Displays haben wir auf dem #37C3 von der @cbase bekommen. Vielen Dank noch einmal dafür! Einige werden wir hier als Raumschilder und einige als Info Displays nutzen.
@paavi I had a brief hands-on with an MNT Pocket Reform prototype at #37c3, and while it liked it a lot (it feels rock solid!), it's too much more bulky for this use case — at that point I can just as well carry my Surface Go 2.
I am about to make a simple automatic plant grow system, based on an ESP8266. Luckily I got a #Chirp from Catnip Electronics https://wemakethings.net/chirp/ at #37c3 which covers pretty much all of the parameters, I want to measure ^.^

Is there any TLD registry (not registrar) and accompanying domain name extension (.com, .net and so on) out there that’s owned by a small/independent, i.e. trustworthy business? Feels like they’re all owned by some creepy mega-corp.
.blog owned by Automattic is a decent example, though they’re not exactly very indie anymore, and have come under strong scrutiny of late. I wonder if there are even better alternatives.
@Edent@erlend this is such an important conversation to be having. Glad to see it discussed. I wonder what Njalla things about this situation since they are some of the only people trying to run a registrar quite differently. Also I just heard at #37c3 from the GNUnet GNS people that they just got approval of .alt and they are planning to run it as far as I understood.

During #37c3 I hung up 5 posters promoting pkmn.li (curl pkmn.li) in various locations in the congress center. You can clearly see in this traffic graph, when that was.
Spiele heute mal wieder #Bahn-Poker. Hatte eine Verbindung Stgt-Linz mit nur 10 Minuten Umsteigezeit in München. War früher am Bahnhof in S, weil aufgrund typischer Bahn-Umstände ein Kilo Züge zeitgleich nach München fahren. In dieser Reihenfolge: Ein ICE aus Berlin mit +80 (4 Halte bis Mü), ein ICE aus Stuttgart mit +12 (5 Halte bis Mü), ein ICE aus Stuttgart +3 (3 Halte bis Mü) und mein eigentlicher ICE +2 (4 Halte)

Sagt doch mal, wie heißt denn das Tool, in dem ich grafisch sehen kann, welche Züge auf einem bestimmten Streckenabschnitt sind? Das hatte wer gepostet, als wir alle im Dezember auf dem Weg nach Hamburg waren zum #37c3 - da konnte man schön sehen, wie sich die verspäteten ICEs vor Hamburg stapelten. Ich war da leider in einem Loser-Zug, der fast alle überholen lassen musste. #bahn

Sehr gut erkennbar sind die Gründungen der Standorte #Chemnitz, #Göttingen, #RheinNeckar und #München in der ersten Hälfte des Jahres 2021. Und Anfang dieses Jahres scheint sich der #37C3 bemerkbar zu machen. Und damit ein herzliches Moin in Richtung Team #Nord. ⛯ 😀
