I want to upload some videos to Peertube to share here in Lemmy, but I’m not sure how to find an instance where I can upload them....

The web interface freezes often for me, so I usually use mpv like mpv https://spacepub.space/w/7XEaaDCywRALEbT64Q758T, but it takes around 1-3 minutes for mpv to actually load the video. Is there a way for me to reduce this long wait time?
I have plenty of technical peertubers on TILVids, but I’m interested in finding any fun gaming peertubers if anyone can make any recommendations. I’ve started posting some myself, but I don’t exactly want to watch my own stuff :-D .
I can’t reach tilvids.com anymore. What are you supposed to do in such a case?
Sorry if this is asked a lot but I’m looking for a peertube instance to mirror my youtube videos to....
That’s right. I almost forgot my favourite Peertube idea to date. I used to write parody lyrics to songs all the time on Mastodon. I figure, why not learn how to make full-blown parody songs?
I’ve made a tonne of videos showcasing myself playing Minetest and SuperTuxKart, as well as a good variety of other fully libre games....
Hi everyone, I recently made a peertube instance and I see the potential!...
I’m new at both PeerTube and at Piped/NewPipe frontends. I’ve always wanted to support PeerTube but every time I browse instances I see very little content and it’s especially barren for the type of stuff I like. Not really a tech guy, even though I’m learning some programming my background is that of a Literature...
I want to download my favorite debates and old videos from YouTube to upload to Odysee or PeerTube. Can I do that without getting in some sort of legal trouble? Thanks

How much time did you wait?
The way I see it, the mobile app ecosystem for PeerTube has yet to take off, in spite of the fact that it has a seemingly decent API. More people appear to be using the platform than ever before, which is great, but we still seem to be lacking a general ecosystem that Mastodon or even Lemmy has....
Youtube, for so many years, was just too good. Yes, they changed the 5 star rating system to likes and dislikes and a few years later disabled dislikes altogether, but their algorithm mostly digs up interesting content and it just works for creators and viewers....
Hi folks!...
I intend to share with my friends (or have my replays stored somewhere easily accessible) but I refuse to use Youtube and I can’t self-host a Peertube instance just for this purpose at the moment....
This is something I’ve been trying to figure out on my end. I run a community instance for creators at spectra.video, and so far it’s been a pretty good situation. The community is fairly cozy, we don’t have many problems with spam, and we connect with a handful of really good partner instances that we like and trust....

Hello! I just started streaming on PeerTube and the first thing I noticed is that there is no Live choice on the left side panel for anyone who wants to check Livestreams. Furthermore Sepia Search doesn’t really give any results about live channels without a prompt....
Hi all. I recently decided to try PeerTube as a creator, and was quite surprised by a lot of what I found. Thought a writeup from the perspective of a newbie to the platform might be useful for others who are considering it....
