What is your favorite weapon in shattered pixel dungeon?
I personally love the whip because castlevania.
AllHailTheCeilingCat, I suppose this is more of a “what’s my favorite weapon enchantment” answer, but:
The Spirit Bow with the Projection enchantment; you can shoot through walls, doors, and enemies, so you can:
- get a head start on defeating enemies before they even get to you;
- defeat enchanted statues without having to do battle;
- use one enemy as a shield to defeat another (e.g., shoot past a snake to defeat the crab behind it)
- Defeat larger or shoot-and-run enemies on the other side of a doorway, while they can’t get to you.
In ARranged PD, it would have to be the Eldritch enchantment that makes enemies turn tail and run.
Pixelnugget, 
Eldritch suck when your build is purely on melee. But for range it’s great.
Jazzinmypints, The greataxe (is that her name?), because I feel very Gimli with her.

I like the higher damage melee weapons even if the range is lower. I need to do melee damage to regain health, the rest gets done with staff and wands
PrincessLuna, Mage staff. Clearing an entire room with a couple of zaps is satisfying af
EveningLie, Scimitar, fast and stronger than all tier 3 weapons.
Sai is faster, but it does like half damage as a result, meanwhile the scimitar does almost full damage and you can augment it for speed without sacrificing much damage

Glaive everytime, for every character except mage.

tetraodon, I was never able to do a whip run. The damage output is too low.
But a sufficiently upgraded tomahawk is the perfect fire-and-forget weapon.

for fun with duelist, runic blade or dagger (post rework, i just rly like blink tbh)
for any other class, sickle/war scythe because honestly the downside isn’t that bad
HoodieSticks, The accuracy penalty isn’t that bad? You and I have very different opinions on accuracy, then.
My favorite weapon is War Hammer because I hate missing. No frills, no gimmicks, just an honest weapon that doesn’t let you down.
