Found 2 new players today.

Clementine (the player that Strawberry is forked from), it’s awesome. Thanks for the info to find this player.

Also cmus, which is a console music-player, and basically looks like vim for audio files.

Shocking Sword Chased Away Shopkeep (lemmy.world)

This is in Shattered Pixel Dungeon. Went into the shop after getting enough money to buy the Ankh and was followed by a bat. Without paying attention I fought the bat and my shocking sword’s ability went off twice, bouncing into the shopkeep and making him leave. Maybe I’m just a bit salty and it’s my fault for not paying...

My main electronic music growing up was Hard-Trance and then DnB, but we had a friend who DJed House/Big Beat and he would drop this feelgood banger that would get us smiling.

Lost the name of it for about 7 years before someone knew what I was talking about, then I forgot the name for about another 10 years before getting it again.

Will never forget it now.

I live alone and I’m just wasting away my time here. It’s actually making me very depressed to be honest. I do live in the city which makes think there ought to be at least something to do out here. Though I can’t really afford to spent money on it every day....

DebianJr is the easiest pre-packaged distro for kids 7-12.

Under 12, I would keep it fully offline(remove NIC or blacklist MAC address.

Install a local wikipedia instance (or simple-wikipedia) for reference, and give them thumb drives/DVDs for media.

For the fully libre start to life, install Trisquel GNU/Linux and use the DebJr package list to install required software.
