Bdaman,

Here is my go to.

Horses Nose Pizza Dough

Ingredients

1 cup warm water 1 (.25 ounce) package active dry yeast 2 tablespoons olive oil 2 tablespoons honey 1/2 teaspoon salt 3 cups all-purpose flour

Directions

Mix water and yeast together in a bowl. Let stand until yeast softens and begins to form a creamy foam, about 5 minutes.

Combine olive oil, honey, and salt in a separate bowl; add 1 cup flour and mix well. Mix yeast mixture into flour mixture. Add remaining flour, 1 cup at a time, until dough is well combined.

Knead dough on a floured work surface until dough is soft, smooth, and elastic, about 8 minutes. Dough shoud be as “soft as a horse’s nose” after kneading.

Bake @450 to 550* F for 12-16 minutes

itsworkthatwedo,

Alton Brown’s recipe is solid and fairly foolproof.

Nicarlo,

thats awesome! do you plan on kneading by hand or with a mixer?

Thanks for the info!

TropicalDingdong,

rn we knead by hand, but we’re we’ve got a kitchen aid and a dough hook for doing bigger stuff.
