SuperSpruce,

Just making it optimized for the console at hand. I really like the concept of Scarlet and Violet but the complaints about bad performance give me second thoughts as to if I should buy it.

And please get rid of the Dexit trend. It tainted and continues to taint all Pokemon games since Sword and Shield.

Solaris1789,

I want the national dex to be back, mega evolution and all. More difficulty would also be welcome.

Noit,

Honestly they need to bring back the non-battling content and really firm it up. I'm thinking of the contests from gen 3 and 4. There should be a complete contest quest line and it should be on an importance par with the Beat-gyms-and-E4 quest. I liked SVs three separate quest lines, but two of them were directly about battling and the third was about the Let's Go battles which just aren't that interesting.

Stardust,

I feel like they botched open world in Violet/Scarlet. What they really need is some kind of difficulty options, like level scaling. I've done some hacking and it's honestly really easy to make a toggle so that enemies are scaled to near your party and bosses slightly higher, or not at all if 'progressing'/grinding exp is important to you.
Some interactions with wild pokemon that aren't just murder, catch, or die to. Arceus experimented with this a bit in that you could feed them or accidentally wake them up, but I feel it could go further, like aiding one being attacked by another pokemon.

For me, I want pokemon contests to be a prominent option. I want an alternative to battling. I mean, isn't it a bit weird that in a world full of majestic, basically magical creatures, pretty much all the player can do with them is make them murder each other?

Peaceful usage of pokemon makes perfect lore sense and would be a great way to give more variety. We already had pokemon contests in past games (my favourite was gen 3's), but they haven't existed for a while now and honestly they were never a big focus. Gen 3 gave them the most focus but they were still a fairly small side content. I'd love to see them emphasized more strongly. What if they were fleshed out to an equal length as the regular gym circuit?

The obvious answer for me is performance: hopping from Zelda TotK into Violet is a shocking experience.

Besides that, I loved legends Arceus because it felt like they tried something new. An increase in difficulty is also warranted, but hey it’s still pokémon.

I really liked the focus on collecting in Arceus. It felt like there was finally a purpose to collecting them all. The extra battle difficulty (plus the threat of over leveled wild alphas) was actually quite nice, too. By comparison, Violet was another faceroll in difficulty, with the notably exception of high level raids (on which note its weird for raids to be so brutal when every other aspect of the game is so mild).
