Managing environment variables in #Python, python-dotenv or -decouple?

When I need to:

from distutils.util import strtobool
DEBUG = bool(strtobool(os.getenv('DEBUG', 'True')))

...to ensure correct types, I opt out of python-dotenv. Python-decouple (or Pydantic) it is for me :)
