Enlightenment E16, circa 2000, with the Bluesteel theme

hobbsc, Reminds me of my heavy afterstep usage. I always kept gkrellm on deck.
shatteredsteel, Damn this brings back some good memories. Except I was a fluxbox guy on my Slackware install...back when you had to compile damn near everything from scratch.
Good times...good times...
unix_joe, gkrellm, this was probably right before the Mozilla milestones became usable
wesker, I'm chasing this aesthetic.
M33, Ah enlightenment... memories
mbgid, Honestly, seeing a screenshot of Enlightenment back in 1998 was what made me try Linux.
obiwantan, Beautiful. Symmetrical. 90° angles. Every window has a strict purpose. No fancy animations. No popups. No bullshit.
mbgid, I love how every terminal window has a different background image set ;)
obiwantan, Indeed. I prefer light blue on black, though. Actually, I designed my whole system with that in mind.
I'm a minimalist guy liking minimalist things. But everything has to be equal and symmetrical.
infinitypunk, lmao nice. oldschool. I'm enjoying KDE Manjaro currently, VM's for others
