G-Frames by slicelab: 3D-printable aggressive frames

Because I loved this project when it got posted some time ago on that currently dying other platform, I wanted to share this here as well.

G-Frames are a 3D-print project by slicelab. It is a aggressive frame built for riding flat with big wheel protection and a very unique, natural, kinda "grown" looking design pattern. I especially love the 2 colored contrast version.

It is available in different lengths and setups and: completely for free!
You just need to download the file and send it to a 3D printer.

smeikx,

This is so cool!
Not only is it the first time I have seen skate parts under a CC license, the results also look dope, especially with the Danny Beer Thems.

@smeikx I think Justin thursday has his first print designs under a CC license as well: https://www.thingiverse.com/justinthursday/designs

Those are slick! I might have to get a 3D printer one of these days. I'm not too familiar with how all this stuff works, but how long do printed frames typically last?

I think frames are not a big problem if they use 100% infill and a strong material. Not so sure about boots, although I have seen projects there as well.

But I didn't test these frames myself. We got a printer at work and I just asked today if I can use it. 😁
