lgsp,

So having read nothing by Scalzi until now, I was unsure if I liked him or not.

I found this short story in the same universe as Old man’s war, so that I could get an idea of what to expect.

conciselyverbose,

I really enjoyed the interdependency series.

It's a bit goofy from start to finish, but the ride is fun.

Teknikal,

I liked old man’s war but when I tried to read the follow ups I lost interest I can’t even remember why mind you.

Not sure if his other stuff is good, but collapsing empire and consuming fire are not great, wouldnt recommend. Just felt like he had to pump out some books for a contract or something.

I read Agent to the Stars a few years back and remember it being pretty good. If these were audio books I’d be all over this deal.

SplashJackson,

I bought a book bundle from this company once and they never sent my books, or even asked for my address.

chunkystyles,

Hilarious. Just a laugh riot. ROFL on the floor.

Any ROFLMAO in there?

khlinxchaos,

… Not sure if this is a joke, but they only do ebooks.

SplashJackson,

More like Humble PDF Bundle amirite?

Protoknuckles,

He’s one of the best sci-fi autors around. I’ve re-read old man’s war a few times.

LastYearsPumpkin,

I really want to like his stuff, old man’s war is probably my favorite book of all time, but I really just don’t like the rest of it…

Even though I keep reading them…

daqqad,

I’m in the same boat. Just finished Starter Villain and it just doesn’t feel like the same level of writing. It’s not bad - just instantly forgettable.

LastYearsPumpkin,

Still mad about how mediocre Kaiju preservation society was…

Wow, thanks for sharing. I’ve already read the Old Man’s War series, but now I can finish the Collapsing Empire series (only read the first book).

Quiet_Melvin,

I just saw this advertised on his blog. I think it’s too good to pass on.
