Unfortunately, we have to move to a different lemmy instance since "trolling" isn't allowed on lemmy.ml. Any ideas on where we should go to?

I’d be happy to host at lemmy.uhhoh.com/c/shittyasklemmy as long as my instance-wide rules are followed (no slurs, no hate speech, etc)

OK guys I just got out of my 2 day ban for “trolling”. All I did was make post on here and it wasn’t even the type of thing that would get you in trouble for posting it on reddit.

This is a great time to emphasise that Lemmy should not be treated as "reddit, but here".

Reddit had serious userbase issues that people here often don't want to see replicated, so instances took efforts to prevent them. Whichever communities you end up deciding to join, learn about the place and their policies first.

Yeah, seems that a lot of people are just porting over Reddit's subs, jokes, and behavior. That's not what i was hoping for when i joined.

I wasn't looking for a Reddit clone bit it seems it's found me.

Does Beehaw allow users to create communities? I think only the admins there can, they might take requests though.

I've seen Lemmy.world allows user-created communities. They also have a no-trolling rule, but it looks to be geared towards bullying more than shitposting. Other than that I don't know too many other instances, I'm pretty new to Lemmy myself.
