@flameeyes What's your user interface concern with all those retro handhelds leaving you needing physio? Knowing what you're trying to avoid might help find something more suitable.
If you're willing to do an amount of effort between "none" and "lots", you can probably buy compatible eink module, RPi Pico and a battery, and port an existing Tetris implementation. Not sure how fast the refresh is on cheap eink modules, though.
