To TF2 Competitive players - how's competitive?

I've never played competitive before, but I hear it sucks. If you play competitive, how's it actually like?

Do you use mastercomfig?

I'm trying to get some opinion if people use mastercomfig or not. For me I do, I prefer stable FPS over graphics quality.

I hate when this happends

An auto balance picture, this usually happens when one side of the team is not the same amount of players as the other team. As the decision is random, some people auto balance when they almost got a win, which makes it annoying.
