What’s crazy is we trained on it twice a year. I also trained on it in the army. I also trained on it for martial arts.

In martial arts we considered it a technique to be used when we knew we might kill someone. On the police force, our policy was it right below deadly force. If you didn’t use it then you move to deadly force.

It’s a fairly safe technique when done right but the persons health or how much they fight can have deadly consequences.
