i’ve been suspecting for a long time, he bought it to run it into the ground before the next US presidential election.

probably because he’s right wing and at the time twitter had lots of open minded and left wing users. for his billionaire bros, he will force people out, so they can’t discuss reasonable thoughts or turn to facebook etc, where their opinion can be manipulated more easily.
