For me, it's not a cultish thing. I'm happy for folks to be productive with whatever editor or tooling they choose. I see plenty of folks share tips about PHP Storm or VS Code or Sublime or Obsidian or or or or

Sharing this stuff is great - if you use the tool, you might learn something new, or learn about an extension you didn't know about.
