@mjgardner@gruber@BrendanEich This has to do with the fact that huge corporations develop and push for remarkably heavy and resource-intensive frameworks, but feel free to insult us as you wish. For your sake, not ours, I hope you would grow to realize that although "Some people are idiots" is always part of the answer, but "This specific group of people are idiots" is never the whole answer.
Let's see... insulting an individual and an entire class of people, and vindicating your remarks by bragging about your years of experience. And you've tagged everyone who might have a different perspective.

@mjgardner@gruber@BrendanEich My wife @eugenialoli and I were just discussing how sloppy client code just externalizes the costs of processing power (hardware cost, energy cost, environment costs). And that's not even a new trend, it's been going on for decades.
