I think it’s very important not to ever give the impression that the influence is unidirectional, or even that it’s primarily Israel influence over the United States, because it absolutely is not. Israel is the US’s unsinkable aircraft carrier in the Middle East, and “Were there not an Israel, the United States of America would have to invent an Israel to protect her interest in the region.”
