Doesn’t meant I don’t want to see that youtuber any less of course.

That marks the channel, not the video. Marking a video as watched isn’t so easy.
CanniBallistic_Puppy, Aside from Google product managers being the most asinine creatures on the planet, most streaming services lack a simple “mark as watched” feature. It is annoying.
