This is why in EU funded (#HorizoneEurope) projects, the commission demands that a copy of every publications is ALSO archived in a repository like #Zenodo - and they have full guidelines as to preserving open access to science via their #OpenAire service.
I used to think it was a bit of a nuisance having to comply with all that #OpenScience requirement - surely it was obvious?
