bestmacfly, to SwiftUI

Has anyone experience with ? I’m trying to render a simple List:

List{
Text("Test")
Text("Test1")
}

But I’m getting an error:

Unable to render flattened version of ListRepresentable<CollectionViewListDataSource<Never>, SelectionManagerBox<Never>>

When removing the List and using simple Views like Text, everything works fine.

Isn’t ImageRenderer supporting Lists? I can’t find information about that.

I've been going crazy with images generated via imageRenderer.uiImage occasionally being “lost”, and I just found out why.

I make sure to use the on the main thread, but it would fail to render (thus uiImage returning nil) when the app is not in the foreground.

Why would it try to render stuff with the app in the background? Well, it is simply picking up sync changes via iCloud notifications that tell the app, among other things, that a new image needs to be rendered.

Well this is interesting. It looks like SwiftUI ImageRenderer will NOT translate a View to the currently selected language.

You can see here that I'm using the same LocalizedStringKey. A Text View by itself gets translated, but that same Text View isn't translated when passed to ImageRenderer.

Just to clarify, I only put "rain" inside of my Xcode strings file for this example since I don't speak German. 😀
