That sinking feeling when you realise that pcb that has been built and is on its way back to you has a narrow DIP footprint when you now realise you needed a wide DIP footprint... sigh.
Wierd issue - I'm attempting to build a RPi C/'C++ project and cmake picks up the correct arm-none-eabi-gcc cross-compiler, but then make on the results seems to pick up the native gcc and thus can't find the cstdlib stuff...
Any ideas? Nothing wrong in the PATH as far as I know - but I thought cmake was meant to set everything else up just to work anyway...?
But then I've not really done much RPi native C/C++ SDK stuff, so don't really know what I'm doing... :/
@moonling And pretty much everything about the issue on the Internet was "hey, there's this complex build system and you must have something set up wrong"...
At no point did anyone say "of course, if you're prone to having a daft moment, make sure you're not trying to use the standard C++ library with C" :)

In the film Mad Max 2, Max’s V8 Intercepter has two large propane cylinders on the back as fuel tanks. I wanted to do the same on my 6x6 Land Rover conversion, back in the 80s, but was unable to find any spare cylinders lying around. I ended up with a long square section fuel tank from a HGV, placed width ways across the chassis. But as I couldn’t afford to fill it with 100 gallons of diesel, the 10 gallons or so I could afford would slosh around at the bottom, and side slopes when off road resulted in air pick up! #MakerFail
