Shining a specific frequency of on a person’s back for 15 mins can reduce levels, according to a from City, University of London & UCL.

Researchers found that 670 nanometres of red light stimulated energy production within - tiny powerhouses within cells, leading to increased consumption of glucose. It led to a 27.7% reduction in levels following intake, and it reduced maximum glucose spiking by 7.5%.
