Does anyone know which p-adic number system is now using for their prices?

Finally replaced youngest’s PE hoodie from yesterday - couldn’t buy another one when he lost his because ASDA had decided we had all bought our uniform in July, why would we want any in October? (ASDA buyer doesn’t have primary school kids obviously).
So after getting through most of the winter with a ‘make do’ one, I’ve finally managed to get hold of the right colour & right size!

Home from work. The plumber hasn't returned as he said he would. I'm making dinner at I had lunch at 11am. No doubt he'll turn up now.

It has stopped raining again now though.

The wrong side of JK birthday, I found "Galaxy Sprinkle Mix" in - daughter says she doesn't want that on her cake, she likes the pink fireworks from the RM cakes. There's a couple of days to ponder this...

That’s the ordered from and - as usual didn’t have just one thing! PE shorts in black (they had navy blue) - football shorts aren’t what we need. So I’ll be spending the summer tracking those down!

I now buy the next sizes of school uniform ahead and store cos there are sales at this time of year and the kids inconveniently don’t change size every September! 🙄

I really don't understand this. This article mentions in passing that Asda was fined £30,000 twice for failing to respond to information requests and for being unable to explain how being taken over affected its fuel pricing policy. In the same paragraph it mentions that Asda is acquiring a fuel business for £2.27bn.

Asda has enough money to be able to make acquisitions of businesses that are not its core business costing in the billions. A fine in the tens of thousands is literally not even noticeable to them. What is the point? I accept the CMA may not have power to impose a greater fine (I don't know), but what's the point in a regulator that either cannot or will not impose fines that actually hurt their targets?

It happens all over the place, companies being handed fines that aren't even negligible, they're just not actually noticeable. Nobody will follow the rules if it costs substantially less to break them than it does to follow them.
