Catching up on #dailydracula, this quote from the letter that Jonathan Harker's boss entrusted to Harker to give to Dracula: "He is a young man, full of energy and talent in his own way [...]" Talk about damning praise.

Also, the Count is a confirmed unibrow: "His eyebrows were very massive, almost meeting over the nose."

Listening to Re: Dracula (an ensemble reading of Dracula in order by date, like #DailyDracula in radio play format), hoping to catch up to the emails.

It’s helpful to hear it in the same way it’s helpful to hear any older book: the actors’ intonation holds information that I miss on reading.
