Just realised those girls in the school uniforms dancing with Ayase at the start of the Idol performance were Avangardey, who performed a dance to a mashup of the Japanese and English versions of Idol on America’s Got Talent earlier this year. Fairly sure those guys doing the dance with the glow-sticks during the Idol performance were the Real Akiba Boyz, who did the cheers and gospel-style background vocals for the song. A pity they didn’t get a bit more time to shine on camera tonight. #kohaku
