Punks in their 30s bitterly complaining about how you used to be able to get by every month on just petty crime. Criminals need to unionize and demand a cost-of-living increase.

@rechelon When I first saw M (1931), the thing that really floored me at first was they acted like a union instead of modern US gangs, which are capitalist operations.

Like they were worried about how they were going to be bankrupted by all the money they were paying to widows of members murdered by cops.
Instead of being outrageously rich while street dealers were worse off than minimum wage.
