I find Brave makes a pretty nice "default" (read: untrusted, dirty) browser, with tracking turned on, all other 3rd party services turned off, and "delete all local storage on exit" turned on.

All my bookmarks, client certs, password wallet (keepassxc) extension, and selected session data can then be kept isolated in a second browser.

For me, the second browser is Firefox, but I feel like it's the separation that's important, not the browser brand (except Safari, whose design choices mystify me).

Anyway, it works for me.

Utah's complicated relationship with coffee brings me great joy.

I hate to say this but in the end the most long-lasting policy change to come out of covid-19 will be that no coffee shop will ever refill a refillable mug again

Me this morning: "Okay, this price change. Raise the print price on all the Mastery books to $29.99, EXCEPT for the PAM book. That was only $19.99 because it's thin, so raise that to $24.99. And do it right, because if you screw up you can't fix it for a day or two. Remember, the PAM book special. Don't fall into autopilot on this tedious task!"

So which book did I just raise to $29.99? :flan_facepalm:

Patrick McKenzie (patio11@ :twitter:โ€‹, not sure if he's
writes an excellent blog about things related to money. He's at his best when he peels back the sheets on covering the modern money system (he's ex-Stripe, and knows too much). He has a way with words.

But his discussion of the current banking crisis is utterly sublime.

@HalvarFlake do I remember correctly that you tried an app (subscription?) for a thing that tried to combine multiple messengers like WhatsApp, Signal etc. - did it work? Can you remind me of the name?
