@Mojeek since a short while I cannot seem to access you from behind a VPN anymore. Which is sad, because I was just happy to have a search engine that respects privacy and doesn't still rely on Google or Bing.

I use Proton VPN with secure core enabled. It's also my ad and tracking blocker on phone, so I don't really want to turn it off all the time. While I trust you enough, I don't trust all websites I might find when browsing ๐Ÿ™ƒ.

@Mojeek would if I could. But the whole website doesn't load. Connection is also considered insecure when I'm on VPN, despite being fine without VPN.

However, with some more testing it one seems to happen on the Secure Core NL VPN trough Sweden. @protonvpn I think this is more an issue for you to check? For now I switched to the Switzerland one.

@protonvpn hmmm it was an issue for days (it started a few days before reporting) and dissapeared only when I turned of my VPN, or as I later found out switched servers. Ah well, I'm on another server now and with that all is good ๐Ÿ™ƒ.

Mooi nieuws! Nadat wij ons tijdens storm boos maakten over dat er in een NL-Alert verwezen werd naar Twitter, heeft de Tweede Kamer gisteren unaniem een motie van Groenlinks, PvdA en D66 aangenomen die ervoor moet zorgen dat noodinformatie altijd voor iedereen toegankelijk is. ๐Ÿ™Œ

Letterlijke tekst van de motie: De Kamer, gehoord de beraadslaging, constaterende dat overheden veelvuldig gebruik make van sociale media bij het informeren van burgers, zoals bijvoorbeeld gisteren tijdens de storm Poly; overwegende dat het gebruik van sociale media zeker bij noodsituaties behulpzaam kan zijn om snel grote groepen mensen te bereiken; overwegende dat overheidsinformatie echter nit alleen via sociale media beschikbaar moet zin, zeker niet wanneer het sociale media bereft die niet toegankelijk zijn voor niet- gebruikers; verzoekt de regering om te borgen dat overheidsinformatie altijd voor iedereen toegankelijk mot zijn en dat in noodsituaties niet alleen naar overheidsaccounts op sociale media mot worden verwezen als deze berichten voor niet-gebruikers van het betreffende platform niet toegankelijk zijn; en gaat over tot de orde van de dag.
