I just put so much coffee into my instant coffee by accident. And it is heavenly.

@NotThatDeep @ielenia Here in the US if you got caught drinking instant coffee I'm pretty sure you'd get a lot of weird looks

We have instant coffee here, but almost no one drinks it. Most people drink drip coffee or espresso

unless you're using lab-grade glassware or something, it usually doesn't happen in household containers

also had someone talking about Terraria's gender change potion a little bit ago (would have quoted but it was a follows only post).

The thing that got me personally was the one time I played through Fable 3 and found the gender swap potion there at the end. Bear in mind this was the one where there was only one in the game and the change was permanent since it immediately saved your game as a result of using it. I spent more time staring at that potion and agonizing over the decision than I care to admit ​:puniko_laugh2:​

Imagine if I didnt join fedi. It was on my bucket list for like 2 years before I eventually did. I didn't expect me to fit in. I expected to be just as ignored and id forget about it soon enough. Sure it would be opensource and decentralized but id be just as unseen. Thats why I put it off for so long cuz it was effort and stuff and I figured it was gonna be the same.

Fedi is made great by a lot of things but a huge part is that u can have 0 followers and if u post stuff people like then someone will see it for sure and probably interact with it in some way.

@NumbersCanBeFun @ChaosKitsune I've said this before, and I'll say it again: here on fedi, the people you interact with feel like just that - people. On a lot of other platforms, like reddit or twitter, the people you interact with don't really feel like actual people. Maybe it's because of how fedi works, where there are smaller communites that can all connect with each other, that makes the connections you make with other people so genuine. I don't think I would ever have considered people I met on the internet "friends" until I joined fedi. And now, some of the people I've met are some of my closest friends.
