It’s the season for steam’s summer sale, so here’s some solarpunk-y games I’ve been eyeing, for anyone who’s looking for something new to try this summer! (I haven’t played most of these, they are just things that I’ve seen around that give me solarpunk vibes.)...
Honestly I haven’t tried it but I wouldn’t mind certain things containing bug parts (on purpose) to make up for protein in them. And honestly that crunch sounds quite good.
I’m not really talking about eating them out of desperation but rather just as an additive in food, however I see where your coming from and it’s a pretty reasonable response.
I have been pro-nuclear for more than a decade, but it is clear that it has lost politically at this point. I used to say that we needed a 40 years nuclear transition so that the solar tech could catch up. We are almost there. We sadly relied on oil and coal instead to develop these tech but we finally are here and it will soon...
I agree agrivoltaic farming is much more easy to implement for farmers, and although droughts and such will be more common I think the main appeal is what you said freeing up space for nature to reclaim.
That is a very interesting perspective, thank you for making me think of things in a slightly different light. But yes I agree any type of advancement in farming from this point in human history and onwards should be attempting to achieve 2 things:

This is incredibly insightful as someone who want to get into the business, I agree that as always the governments are like 2 years behind new production methods and I wish that wasn’t the case.
