Feels like I shouldn’t have woken up this morning. The state of the world at the moment is indeed grim.

With the Bondi incident yesterday Iran has launched a drone attack on Israel.

It’s bound to escalate ever further now.

It sounds horrific.

Someone from work sent me am email last night.

I looked at it but decided not to respond to the request which they needed by 9am today.

I come in early to work so I can have a coffee and relax while I do things on my phone or read things online, not to work so from now I’m going to pull the breakfast card on people if they bother me.

Anyway when I came back in from outside at 9am that person sent me an email came up to me as I’m taking my coat and stuff off and asked if I had gotten to their request and I played ignorant and said I hadn’t looked at my emails.

I’m finding people have reallly no respect for work boundaries and private personal time.

It’s the 4th time in 3 weeks this has happened.

Bit of an update on my next door neighbour. I just ran into him as I took my bins out and he’s let me know that they now have a new baby born early at 31 weeks old.

It was lucky that they decided to get his wife to the hospital and I’m told both baby and mum are doing well though of course being born so early the baby has to be looked after for a good while.

So happy for them. Was worried because they had a rough pregnancy of late.

Also it explains why there was noise at 3am last night. My neighbour had his phone on silent so his sister came over and tried to scale his front gate using bins to do it.

Not my f’ing day.

Just spilt my entire dinner on the god damn carpet and had to do a massive cleanup and remaking dinner again as all of it had to be tossed out.

It’s the last thing I need right now!

Today I went to Bunnings to buy something and I asked the cashier lady how she was.

She was genuinely surprised that I asked and told me barely anyone ever asks how she is.

That made me very sad to hear that, I also wished her a good day too for good measure but to that was how people engage with her at her job makes me sad.

Also I ran after an empty shopping bag that blew out of someone trolley as they were crossing the a road strip with waiting traffic.

Good deeds done for the day.

Man, it’s rough coming back to work after being away for 2 weeks.

I’m glad to be back but at the same time maybe I wish I had another week off.

Well the funeral for my grandma was today.

It was an emotional day. I’m glad my friend came with me today to lend me some emotional support.

The eulogies were really hard to get through, more so for the speakers.

It was open casket so I got to see her and say good bye to her one last time.

I’m ready for a rest after today.

I was sleeping at the time but I’m sad to to bring this news to everyone.

My grandma has passed away, only a couple of hours ago. She passed away peacefully from what I’ve been told.

I don’t know how I feel about things yet. Looks like be taking more time off from work after I get over this sickness.

Well in some cruel twist of fate I found out that my grandma is declining and probably wont last much longer as she’s stopped eating and drinking.

I did a rat last night and today. It’s a requirement for visiting a nursing home.

Last night negative, today this evening positive.

Explains why I’m feeling rubbish but I won’t be able to see my grandma. Maybe for the last time as well.

One of my friends from work finally gave me some good news.

Her daughter who went holidaying in Israel finally made it back home to Melbourne after being distraught at the situation and having multiple flights canceled trying to get out of the country.

She sent me a photo of them hugging each other at the airport after landing this morning.

So happy for her and relieved.

Well my day has started out badly. Was rushing out and turned out of my car port too sharply and fast and ended up damaging my rear car door and scraping it along brick work.

Fml

Dug deep enough to peel off paint and even warp the end of the rear door and the chassis a little.

Car will function still and not sure if the damage will cause any ill effects.

God I hate my life and this hurts so bad

I feel satisfied today. Been treating myself to little things all day for my birthday.

Still haven’t opened the wine. I’m in 2 minds as it’s my last bottle.

Also for dinner I heated up a frozen meat pie and cooked some French fries on the side in the air fryer.

The sun is so beautiful today. Feels like I haven’t seen it in 2 weeks.

How it does cheer up a day when it’s out and makes everything so much brighter and cheerful!

Forgot to say hello to everyonehere, I finally made it here today.

I was wondering where everyone from the DT went when it came back and I stumbled across a stray comment after Epicpillow said someone was impersonating them here.
