Making generalizations about people is a problem when the generalization is false or misleading, or is being used to make a false or misleading argument, which is often the case. If you’re wondering if a given generalization is problematic, odds are the answer is ‘yes’ otherwise you probably wouldn’t think of it as a generalization.
Let me preface this by saying I’m not a fan at all of Bill Burr, but he recently went on Bill Maher’s show, and said he was with the students. He’s also said some inflammatory things in the past, so I’m not sure. Are we cool with Bill Burr, now?
Bill Burr is a surprisingly thoughtful and principled guy with consistently good opinions. He’s a comedian, and he doesn’t have any theory underpinning his worldview, but I bet if you look at why he’s been criticized in the past it’s by liberals who are mad that he’s being critical of liberals. I’m not at all surprised that he lit up Bill Maher on his boomer-ass Israel-Palestine takes.
Ask a friend or family member? Or just knock on a neighbor’s door and ask if they have a spare egg. You could offer to pay for it, but I feel like most people would happily just give you an egg if you said you needed one for a recipe.
What do you guys think was the intention with this? I recently had an episode of mania, and was behaving a bit oddly, but I confirmed with my mother (this was her condo I’m renting it) that it wasn’t here when she left and I’ve never seen it before :|
If you already struggle with some form of mental illness, it’s probably best to assume that you’re being irrational, rather than ascribe any meaning to this particular thing. There is a lot of random stuff that happens, and you could project meaning onto any of it to create a narrative. Unless you have a good reason to believe that a specific person or group is messing with you (not just a vague sense of unease) then it’s very likely that it means nothing.
Jughead must be asexual. If he were at all interested, he would be absolutely crushing pussy/bussy without even breaking a sweat. Just the chillest, most unbothered guy you could imagine. I can’t speak for asexual/aromantic people, but he seems like he would be good representation. Cool guy, healthy relationships, has his own thing going on, completely unphased by any suggestion that he should conform to social norms, but is happy for others who do. Easily the best character in those comics.
I was listening to recent true anon with Tom O’Neill. It sounded like he said that chapo got him on joe rogan. it was kind of mumbly and there was noise in the background where I was at so not sure if I heard it properly. something about jfk stuff....
Patton Oswald, Matt Taibbi, Glenn Greenwald, Andrew Yang, and of course Tim Heidecker does a hell of a Joe Rogan impression. Probably a few others, both shows have had a lot of guests over the years.
If I were a fake state ostensibly created because of the Holocaust, I would probably think twice before I started executing prisoners to make room for more prisoners.

I appreciate that only the truly deranged are still talking about human shields. Everyone else has stopped talking about it because it’s obvious that civilians don’t actually work as shields against Israeli bombings!
Looking forward to seeing this very real Russian sonic weapon. It’ll be interesting to see how it works, who designed it, how long it’s existed (which it definitely does). It’s a little worrisome that the Russians were able to keep it a secret so successfully. We don’t even have a theoretical basis for how it works, and yet they’ve managed to not only build it but also deploy it in multiple locations for literally years. Anyways, I hope they eventually find a way to combat this very serious and not at all made up threat.
I hope this article itself is a very subtle April Fools joke because it’s literally just the Facebook boomer “kids today don’t recognize this” meme, and it’s just as dumb. Maybe if we’re talking about literal children, but even if you’ve never used a floppy disk before, you’ll have seen them referenced in various forms of media. There’s lots of obsolete technology that I recognize despite never having used it. And even if you don’t recognize a 3.5” floppy on sight, you can infer that this is physical media and understand the joke.

I think ‘republican obstructionism’ has become a thought terminating cliche rather than an argument anyone really believes. It’s a universal excuse. Any policy failure could be said to have failed because of obstructionism, so it works for everything, and asks no explanation for why any given policy succeeded or failed. “Just be grateful that anything got done at all!”
Anyone blaming obstructionism is basically saying “all Democrat wins are legitimate and the result of their competence, and all of their failures are illegitimate the result of bad faith actors.” I don’t know how you could take someone seriously if they were that unwilling to be even mildly critical of their own party.
